After extensive tool development, Vltor is finally preparing to offer
the best PKM receiver ever built.

Improvements
Compared to conventional PKM receivers, Vltor's receiver is more
robust,
rigid and wear resistant. Vltor has researched the PKMs history
and found the weaknesses of the existing chassis and moved
forward to improve upon its design. For example, the PKM
receiver was notorious for cracking around the rear trunnion
rivet holes. This was cured through increased strengthening
around the said holes. Another downside to the original PKM
receiver was the excessive wear on the receiver's rails. Vltor
has remedied the problem by the eliminating the conventional
"stamped" rails by replacing them with fully machined,
heat-treated tool steel rails. Finally, with the installation of
the tool steel rails, the Vltor PKM receiver is less likely to
flex or twist during operation, when compared to the original.

Post Dealer Sample
"Post Dealer Sample" PKM general purpose machine guns are
available to those that present proper license and a "letter of
demonstration" from the military or a qualified law enforcement
official.
Those that qualify can purchase a complete PKM system for $5500,
which includes the excise tax. Prices may vary, depending on PKM
kit availability and the condition of the kits used. These
systems vary in condition, ranging from Very good to Un-issued
condition.
Complete PKM Package consists of the following:
Qty. 1 complete gun (made from an un-issued Hungarian PKMS Parts
Kit)*
Qty. 1 Spare Barrel (matching serial number)
Qty. 1 Tripod
Qty. 2 100 round assault ammo cans, with belts**
Qty. 2 200 round box ammo cans, with belts**
Qty. 1 spare parts kit (parts that break or wear down)
Qty. 1 blank firing adapter
Qty. 1 cleaning kit
Qty. 1 spare barrel carry bag.
Qty. 1 tripod carry bag
Qty. 1 weapon carry bag
Qty. 1 bag of misc. slings**
*Most of the kits have matching number, including barrels.
Tripod serial number does not match the numbers found on the
parts kit. **Ammo Cans and accessories may vary in condition.
Already have a parts kit?
Vltor will construct a Post-Dealer Sample receiver for you.
Receiver pricing: $1000
Riveting and finishing (receiver only) is $500
For an additional cost Vltor will refinishing all metal
components to match your new receiver. ***Vltor can choose not
to build kits, if kits are of poor quality, i.e. Romanian PKMs.
Semi-Auto
The ATF has fully approved the design of the semi-auto PKM.
Developed by WiseLite Arms/Vltor these semi-auto PKMs are
being distributed by Marcolmar Firearms. Marcolmar
Firearms are selling PKM packages at the starting price of
$5495.00 (as of 12/15/07).

Vltor will NOT be offering semi-auto packages to the general
public. The purchase of a semi-auto PKM packages will be
conducted through Marcolmar Firearms only.
Semi-Auto Receivers
Vltor will offer semi-receivers to title 02 manufacturers only!
All semi-auto components, receivers and 922r compliant parts
will be offered through Wise Lite Arms. Please contact them for
more information. Pricing for the semi-auto receivers will be
$1000 per unit (not including riveting our final finish).
80% Receivers
Vltor will NOT be offering an 80% receiver. ATF has made it
clear that 80% receivers are not viewed upon favorably, unless
it is a flat piece of metal with no holes. Vltor has chosen not
to offer an 80% receiver. Semi-auto receivers are available and
are approved by the ATF.

250-round Ammo Cans with link-belts:
Vltor has a small supply of 250-round Maxim ammo can that are
Arsenal refinished with new unissued PKM belted links. The
linked belts are wrapped in a water resistant wax paper. Each
ammo can is $39.95 each. Quantity price breaks are available.
