The VN-VRA VULCAN Stripped Lower Receiver is a scratch/dent receiver that has been coated with Gunkote. This coating very durable and has a high resistant to heat. It is also stripped down which is the first time this has ever been available. The lower comes with the lower, oversized mag release button, mag catch, and side saddle endplate.

1. Can individuals purchase lowers directly from VLTOR?

Yes, but they have to be shipped to an FFL dealer. Please check with your local FFL holder to determine the laws in your state as well as the FFL’s requirements for the transfer.

2. Can I purchase the side-saddle endplate separately?

Unfortunately we cannot sell the side-saddle plates separately. This is because the plates are specially designed to fit on the VLTOR lowers. These plates will not work on a conventional lower receiver.

I bought this to match my MUR UPPER . I looked over the lower and could not find one single blem . I guess these are Vltors answer to people wanting their stripped lowers . I hope Vltor starts making more of these because not everyone wants a fully assembled lower . I love Vltor’s quality and attention to detail and if they make more of these I’ll buy one in a heart beat. I’m a precision shooter so I wish they would get into the precision game with rifle length buffer tubes/springs , adjustable gas block , muzzle breaks etc… The market is turning that way now .
