The RE-249 Stock Adapter Kit was designed for an M4 type buttstock to be installed on a M249/SAW. This enhancement allows for length of pull adjustability.

  • Five position receiver extension made from impact extruded 7075 T6 aluminum

  • Positions are numbered and are visible through the witness hole on most stocks

  • Receiver extension is Mil-Spec dimensioned and will only accept M4 type Mil-Spec buttstocks
  • M249 standard weight with fixed stock: 2lb 8oz
  • M249 Para collapsible stock weight: 3lbs
  • M249 with the RE-249 adapter and EMOD Stock: 1 lb 6.9oz
  • M249 with the RE-249 adapter and IMOD Stock: 1 lb 2.8oz
