The Vltor VC-T1 compensator is machined from hardened 4130 chromoly steel, and features a durable black nitride surface treatment.  The tri-port design redirects gases in a manner that effectively mitigate recoil and muzzle movement; therefore reducing movement in your optic or sight picture. The closed bottom of the VC-T1 helps minimize dust, debris, and general ground disturbance. In addition to the side ports, the muzzle face of the VC-T1 features six vortex cuts that greatly reduce secondary muzzle flash.

The VC-T1 is made in one operation on a multi-axis live-tool DMG MORI lathe. The bore, threads, and all surface features are cut in one operation, in one machine, without removal of the workpiece. This ensures absolute concentricity and alignment of the features.

With a 2.135” overall length, the Vltor VC-T1 is long enough to bring a 14.5” barrel to the legal 16” minimum length when pinned and welded. The underside of the VC-T1 has a starter dimple for ease of drilling and pinning. Compatible with the Gemtech HALO suppressor.
