RE-A5SR Receiver Extension

A lot of you are sleeping on what is arguably the better of the two A5 Receiver Extensions we offer, and we just made a whole bunch of them!
Generally speaking, our most popular tube is our 7-Position RE-A5 (Receiver Extension – A5), but the one we are talking about today is our 6-Position RE-A5SR (Receiver Extension – A5 Short Rail). It’s the exact same length and depth as the 7-Position tube, and serves the same purpose – the difference between the two is the length of the indexing rail on the underside of the tube. The choice on which tube to go with is majorly dictated by which stock you’ll be running. The RE-A5SR is the better choice for a large number of the stocks on the market. If you’ve ever run a standard body stock (VLTOR Imod, LMT/B5 Sopmod, etc) on our 7-Position RE-A5, you’ve noticed it can’t collapse to position #1 on the tube, only extra large stocks like the VLTOR Emod can accomplish that. This is NOT true of the RE-A5SR tube, standard body stocks can fully collapse to position #1 on this tube. The indexing rail on the RE-A5SR also matches the Mil-Spec Receiver Extension, so fixed stocks that lock against the front angled shoulder of the indexing rail are also compatible with the RE-A5SR Receiver Extension.

There are more nuances to this, but this is the general picture. A whole heck of a lot of you would be better served by the RE-A5SR tube.
